The Activity

Overview

Girls’ football takes place in the summer term. Each house enters one team comprising of mixed ages. Matches are played in a tournament style over three evenings, from 4.15pm – 5.15pm at school.

Rules

  • Each team must have at least two students from each age group (junior, intermediate and senior).
  • Games will last 20 minutes each way with a three minute half time.
  • Each house must provide a referee/linesman to assist with officiating.
  • Teams will be awarded the following tournament points:

win = 5 points
draw = 3 points
loss (if scoring half of the other teams goals) = 2
loss (if not scoring half of the other teams goals) = 1 point

House points available for this activity are:

1st place = 100 points

2nd place = 75 points

3rd place = 50 points

4th place = 25 points

 

As always each full team will be awarded ten extra house points.
