A Level Results 2012
This year’s A level results are amongst the best in the history of the school. The pass rate of almost 99% was very gratifying with 74% of the grades being A* -B and almost half the grades being A*/A. There were many superb individual performances with 5 students getting three A* grades or better. 36 students secured at least three A grades (or better) out of 116 students in the year group. The staff and students have worked very effectively together to achieve a superb outcome and I am very proud of what has been achieved by them. The outcome represents a lot of hard work and sustained effort over a considerable period of time. I would like to wish all the upper sixth students every best wish for a happy and successful career ahead: I am sure they will be successful in the future and contribute significantly to society in the years to come.
M. L. Pearman.
