Congratulations
Senior rugby second row Matthew Ingram who has been selected by Yorkshire U/18s on their tour of Ireland in August. County games against Lancashire, cheshire and Northumberland in September/October. There are only 30 players selected- this is a fantastic achievement. Senior sprint athelte Jamie Phillips has been selected to representNorth Yorkshire in the English Schools track and field championships at Birmingham in July. Sky T.V. will cover this event. Jamie is one of only 35 students selected by the county for this event.
Well done to Sam Hudson, who won the Y9 area 200m final at Cleckheaton.
Congratulations to the following junior rugby players:
Fly half Harry Lamb, Scrum Half George Foster, Centres Tom Newby and James McDaniel.
These players have been drafted into the Yorkshire elite development squad for nest year's Under 14 team. This is a considerable achievement as the selection was based upon understanding,fitness, skill and speed tests.
