At Bedale H.S. the RGS U/12 continued to gain in experience and

registered a good win in a match that was rain affected for most of the time. Reversing the

batting order made no difference whatsoever as the early batsmen put on good, steady runs.

Ben Maddison and Matthew Cotton looked to be in good form and RGS reached 104-7

after 16 overs.

Bedale batted well in reply but Will Andrew's spin tied the batsmen down and seamer Tom Chappell did likewise. Bedale were bowled out for 85.

 

 

Result: Ripon G.S. won by 20 runs.
