Admissions - General information

As a co-educational boarding and day school, all applications to study at Ripon Grammar School are by academic selection only. There are three main admission points, at Year 7, Year 9 and Year 12 (Sixth Form), but In-Year testing can be arranged in any year and, if successful and if vacancies arise, students can be admitted to the school. All admissions at Year 7 - 11 are managed by North Yorkshire County Council's school admissions team. Only Sixth Form admissions are managed directly by the school.
