Engineering grand RGS designs

OUR budding young engineers rose to the challenge of designing a new theatre building for Ripon Grammar School, using the latest in sustainable technology.

Over two days, these Year 8 pupils divided into teams to work against the clock, researching, designing and costing their projects. They then delivered a five-minute presentation and pitch, along with their impressive 3D scale models, to a panel of judges, followed by a question and answer session.
