AS a class, we gave the show 4.5 stars out of 5, and we loved the jokes, especially '6-7' and the puns about Abba. The lighting helped make it really exciting, and we enjoyed the use of special effects like the live band and the water pistols.
Rowan Senior-Simms says: "The music was creative, the lights were fitting for the scenes and the staging was also fitting for the scenes".
All the characters were brilliant, but Widow T was one of our favourites.
Tom Stephenson says: "The dame made the whole show!" Cecily Moulton agreed, saying: "Widow T's outfit was iconic!"
There was lots of praise too for Muddle the Monkey, who Tamann Nallapuneni described as 'funny and goofy'.
Form 1D agree that going to the pantomime as a whole year group was a really important bonding experience. "Everyone can make new friends and have fun together," commented Tanya Yan.
The trip had lots of other benefits, too.
Rebecca Smith commented: "It is good because it introduces us to English literature and drama away from books. It is fun for the whole year to go and for everyone to be together." Eva Stott echoed this, saying: "It is good because it shows Year 7 the type of trips we’ll get to do and is a bit like a welcome to RGS."
We can't wait for next year's show!
