SCHOOL TRIPS: Ardèche 2025

HAVING arrived safely in the Ardèche, Year 8 students enjoyed the swimming pool and playing archery tag and other games on the camp site before preparing to get out on their kayaks, travelling along the Ardèche to reach their overnight campsite by the river. 

After successfully sheltering from the overnight thunderstorms, they continued their kayak adventure along this stunning part of south-central France, stopping off to  making a splash at the Wave Island water park before heading back to camp in the Ardèche for a karaoke night, followed by a game of volleyball. 

These intrepid students took to the tree tops on day five of their action-packed French adventure. After zip-lining across the river they spent the evening exploring Ruoms’s local market. 

During their final day in the Ardèche, they enjoyed high ropes activities and completed a ‘Mission Impossible’ challenge before starting the long journey home.
