MORE than 100 Year 8 students discovered more about the benefits of apprenticeships during an assembly delivered by industry experts.
Thank you to Sam Lloyd of North Yorkshire Business and Education Partnership (NYBEP) and Alison Lee of Specsavers for introducing students to the wealth of opportunities available in this area, right up to degree level.
Head of careers Bob Walker said: “Students were very attentive during this session, which is part of the government’s strategy to promote apprenticeships while students are in key stage three.”
