YEAR 8 pupils immersed themselves in the past during a visit to Beamish Museum, an open-air museum of everyday early 20th century life in north-east England..
The trip linked to their study of the Industrial Revolution and, having just studied the development of steam power, their were excited to be able to see the Locomotion in action.
As always, the sweet shop in the 1900s town was a firm favourite, and the record shop and new cinema in the 1950s town was also a hit with our music and performance fans.
