House spirit shines at RGS Sports Day

RIPON Grammar School’s 2026 Sports Day was a fantastic celebration of determination, teamwork and House spirit, with students giving their all in a full programme of athletics events.

Throughout the day, competitors demonstrated outstanding commitment, resilience and sportsmanship, while classmates created a brilliant atmosphere by cheering on every participant.

Congratulations to our six record breakers - Rahul, Brody, Arthur, Zinny, Charlotte and Betty - whose exceptional performances earned their place in the RGS Sports Day record books (see below).

Whether competing for points, achieving personal bests or supporting friends from the sidelines, every student played their part in making the day such a success. Thank you to all the staff, student helpers and officials who made the event possible.
