YEAR 8 students enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The day began with an engaging classroom session on animal adaptations in extreme environments, where students had the unique opportunity to handle creatures such as cockroaches, a snake, and giant African snails.

Following this, students explored the park and discovered a wide range of fascinating animals, including giraffes, capybaras, monkeys, rhinos and zebras. The weather was perfect, adding to the enjoyment of the day.

Students represented the school brilliantly, showing enthusiasm and respect throughout the trip. It was a fantastic experience that combined learning with adventure, leaving everyone with lasting memories.
