Service students enjoy Twister tangles and tasty treats

OUR service students recently came together for a fun-filled morning of friendship, teamwork and celebration as they enjoyed a lively Twister tournament and shared a selection of delicious homemade breakfast bakes.

The event was a wonderful opportunity for students to strengthen their sense of community, spend time together and celebrate the positive relationships they have built throughout the year.

A special mention goes to our talented star bakers, Alex and Martha, who generously shared their homemade creations with a group of very appreciative and hungry students. Alex impressed everyone with a delicious chocolate cake, while Martha treated the group to some tasty raspberry muffins, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed.

Competition was fierce during the Twister tournament, with plenty of laughter and determination on display. The winning team will receive a well-deserved reward of an ice cream at Flamingo Land Resort.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Maggie Newman, a valued member of the Army Welfare Team in North Yorkshire, for joining us once again and supporting our planned activities. Her continued involvement and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated by both staff and students.

It was a fantastic event that highlighted the importance of community, kindness and coming together to celebrate one another’s achievements.
