Students say goodbye amidst laughter and tears

Head of Year 11 Mrs NATASHA COLVILLE-ROBINS offered some words of advice to our departing Year 11 students during a celebratory leavers' assembly filled with laughter and tears. We hope you enjoy our photo gallery, below

Remember the many talents you have and strive to achieve great things, set yourselves high expectations and work hard to achieve your goals. There will always be challenges, there will always be bumps in the road or unexpected twists and turns that life throws at you but try and draw upon that great resilience that I know that you have and don’t let diversions stop you from realising your dreams. Challenges, however hard they may seem at the time will inevitably make us stronger. Challenges also offer a clarity, highlighting what’s important and what type of people we need and want to be in the future.

Year 11, each and every one of you has made me so proud. It has been a privilege to get to know you and I’ve genuinely enjoyed getting to know your creativity, your curiosity, your confidence and, mostly, your good humour.

You are, and always will be my first ever year group. There will be nobody else like you, you are so wonderful and I’m absolutely never going to forget you. I wish you all the best for the next seven weeks, for results day and for your future beyond.
