A global engineering company has stepped in to support Ripon Grammar School’s rising netball stars.
RGS is delighted to thank Trelleborg for its generous sponsorship of two new netball kits for the school’s talented U15 and U16 teams.
The new kits will provide the squads with a smart and professional look as they continue to represent the school with pride, determination and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the season.
Pictured are members of the successful U15 team, including Molly McDonnell, whose achievements both in school sport and at academy level continue to inspire younger players across the school community.
Molly has established herself as one of the region’s rising netball talents, having represented North Yorkshire and earned a place in the Leeds Rhinos U17 Netball Performance League squad while still several years younger than many of the players around her.
She has enjoyed success with both school and club teams, including helping Ripon Rockets excel in regional competition and being named overall player at the Yorkshire and Humberside Under-12 Regional Festival tournament.
RGS director of sport Adam Milner expressed gratitude to Trelleborg for its support of girls’ sport and for helping students continue to thrive both on and off the court.
“The sponsorship will help ensure players can compete with confidence as they build on another strong and successful season for school netball.”
