Update from Headmaster

Dear Parents

I write with regard to two notices:

Covid regulations

  1. Due to changes in gov.uk guidance, from Monday 17 January, students who are self-isolating are able to reduce their isolation period if they test negative with a lateral flow device (LFD) test on both day 5 and day 6 and they do not have a temperature. [Day one is the following day on which symptoms begin or the day after a positive test has been taken. Tests need to be taken 24 hours apart but if the second test on Day 6 is taken before school starts, students can join school on that day]

Late arrivals

  1. We are noticing a larger number of students who are arriving on the school site after 8:45 and who are therefore arriving late for their tutor period. This means there is a much reduced staff supervision of entrances and crossings within school. Please can parents endeavour to ensure that all students arrive between 8:30 and 8:45 when staff can ensure the safety of all students and begin tutor time on time.
