FROM fairground-style stalls and soaking teachers to staff pantomime and sumo wrestling, Charity Week brought plenty of fun, laughter and friendly competition to Ripon Grammar School - all in aid of a great cause.
Students and staff threw themselves into a packed programme of activities, including Battle of the Bands, the student officers’ spectacular dance performance, a fashion show, and the ever-popular challenges of Soak a Teacher and Flour a Teacher to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
There were plenty of opportunities to get involved, whether cheering on performers, testing their skills, joining in the games or simply enjoying the entertainment.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the events, took part and supported the fundraising. It was a fantastic week that showcased the creativity, enthusiasm and community spirit of Team RGS, all while raising money for a very worthwhile cause.
